Pete and Chris, the early recordings
The origins of the
band go way back to the old days. Nick played on the Titanic, and
developed much of his technique while drifting for months on an iceberg.
Look closely and you’ll see that he still wears gloves at some
of our gigs today.
Matt and the Nuns. Holy Moley Rock ‘n’ Rolley!
The band, noted for their fear of flying, arrive in New York in 1971
to promote their new album, Discovering Uranus.
While the Mersey Beat prevailed, the Matts, hailing from Gillingham,
pioneered the less well-known Medway Beat.
